Does Alexis Jewelers use "cookies"? "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computers hard drive. Your ordering information is encrypted using Verisign software. Once your information is stored on our database, we have database security technologies and procedures in place to protect it from access by unauthorized employees or third parties. 5. How does Alexis Jewelers protect the safety and privacy of children? Our site is not directed or marketed to children under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect or store information on children. If we learn that a child has made a purchase from Alexis Jewelers without his or her parents consent, we immediately, upon parental request, void the sale, refund any monies collected on the return of the merchandise and remove all information concerning the purchaser and the purchase from our database. 6.
